Inside CFIA: The Inspection Blitz and What Inspectors Actually Look For

About This Session
An unannounced CFIA visit doesn't test what you know. It tests what you can prove, on the spot, with the systems you have running today. Cameron Prince, who spent years as CFIA's Vice President of Operations, is walking through how inspectors actually approach a facility visit during the current blitz: what triggers heightened scrutiny, how findings get escalated, and what's different this time versus previous inspection cycles.
You'll leave with:
- The specific documentation and system readiness gaps that drive CFIA findings
- A facility self-assessment framework modeled on actual CFIA inspection priorities, so you can close your gaps before an inspector shows up
